Learning to eat

Malachi is now old enough to start eating food. So we've started the adventure of rice cereal and banana. The first time we gave it to him his facials were so hilarious Tui and I laughed for about 15 minutes. He enjoys the spoon and bib more then anything else - they're something to put in his mouth. The majority of his food ends up in his hands, on his head or smeared on his tray, but he sure has fun.
Here are a few pictures of our struggle to keep the food in his mouth and out of his hands.

Our family really wouldn't be what it is if it wasn't for one thing - our religion. We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints - Mormons, and proud of it. We are so grateful to have the knowledge that God loves us so much that he has restored his church again, in all its glory, for us today. It is lead by Thomas S. Monson, a living prophet of God, a Moses in our day. We believe that families can be together forever, the greatest thing you could ever ask for, but only if we're living lives worthy of that blessing. Family comes first for us. Some people may think we're weird or strange, or really not understand our religion at all, but at the end of the day, we're just people trying to do what we believe to be right.

We know God lives. We know that he is our Father. We know that Jesus Christ is his son and our Saviour. We know that he loves us and that he will come again.

We are not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.....
