I am a Child of God

Every time we say prayers in our house, i pick malachi up on my lap and say to him, "Prayers, fold your arms" and then i move his arms to be folded and hold them there during the prayer. I've never really thought much about it.
But today, i realised that it has had more of an affect on him then i thought. Today i couldn't be bothered picking him up to say prayers coz Tui was in a rush to get to work so i just called out to him, "Malachi, prayers, fold your arms", and then turned back to pray with my husband, and i saw out of the corner of my eye my little son folding his arms. Boy oh boy did i jump and yell and squeal, i couldn't believe it!! So i tried it again....and again and again....and then i got my camera...

As you can see, he was as pleased with himself as i was pleased with him.
I'm not sure if we actually ever said prayers coz i was too excited. It just goes to show how quickly these little ones pick up things we say and do.... good AND bad.

So adorable! Hehehe, I love the glimpse we get of Sarah there at the end too (hahaha)... Your son is so good and obedient, If we hold Arieli down for prayers she squeals and tries to get away. I might try making her watch the video of Malachi so she can see what an obedient child looks like! Way to go you guys - great examples to us all!!!
