Day 5
We hung around the mall and the kids got their faces painted. The lady was super profesional, and now that my kids know what face painting is meant to look for, they probably won't be satisfied with Mummy's version any more.
Then we went to visit the chocolate factory. The kids loved looking at all the different things they could make out of chocolate! They had just finished making a giant lollipop that blew their young minds (and mine!). They had fun willy wonka dress ups, and because it was the school holidays they had bouncy castles too. You were meant to pay for them, but the old man loved the kids face painting so much he let them go for free!

This trip was so good. The relationship these kids have with their aunties and uncles and cousins is so important to me. They're all such good buddies. Lani calls everyone "Hannah" if she doesn't know their name. And I think there's just something exciting about going to visit your cousins that live far away. We're hanging out for Christms when we see them all again.
