Fish!!

We haven't really had alot of success when it comes to pets.  2 guniea pigs that got eaten, 2 rabbits that we had to give away.  But I like the idea of the kids learning responsibility in taking care of another creature.  And so when my sister offered her fish tank we jumped at it.  I took Vili down to the petshop and he took his time choosing which 2 fish he liked.  We brought them home and he named them "Malachi" and "Vili" - super original, right?  He has since then also gotten a bright yellow water snail that he named "Lani".....
We've had a few incidents of him shaking the tank or feeding them half a container of fish food, but he loves them.  And so does lani.  She always says "morning wishies!" to them.  Tomorrow Vili will help me clean the tank for the first time.  We'll see how much he loves them then.....
