Neighborly Love

We have the best neighbors.  We really do.  I don't know if I've cooked anything in the last 6 months that had only my ingredients in it, there is always some borrowed chocolate chips or baking powder or eggs.  And I never have to worry about Malachi playing outside without me, he has Aunty's and Uncle's who watch out for him and care for him like he's one of their own.  That has to be one of the main things I'll miss about being here, our friends.  TVA truely has been this unique experience that you can't get anywhere else.

A couple of weeks ago our underneath-neighbors T-man and Rena took us out for dinner (how can you not love people that feed you, right?!) to Hale Iwa Joes.  It was such a good night out, away from kiddies, eating good food, having a good laugh.  We all ate waaaaay too much, and then went for ice-cream after wards too.

Balu the bear (lol) and his beautiful wife.

Before we stuffed our faces.

At the end of the night - full tummy's and happy faces.

We sure are going to miss these guys.  They've been so good to us, always willing to help, so loving to our son, just good people.  We love you Thompson Ohana!!
