Tonga - Part 3

We spent many more lazy days at the beach, enjoying the incredibly warm water, beautiful surroundings, and the peacefulness of the whole place.  Because we went during the day when it was sunny, we were usually the only ones there (Tongan's only swim on public holidays and in the rain).

Is that not just straight out of a postcard????!!!

The kids just had the best time, free as birds, enjoying life the good old fashioned way.

So our favourite little spot has a reef that, at low tide, you can walk out to.  So I did.  Got out there, stood to take my picture, Tui who's taking the pictures says nothing to me, and then.......

Thanks alot babe.

This picture makes me smile.  We have taken one every time a new pair of feet are added to the family.  The first was taken in hawaii, the second at cook's beach, and now this one in Tonga.  I wonder where the next will be taken?

Good ol' big brother, looking out for his little brother.

Lani was in love with the food.  This is the first time in her life using a fork, and she went to town with it.

A flock (herd? school? coven?) of bats took residence in some trees next to the house for a few days, which the boys thought was AWESOME!! They love the move Hotel Translyvania, and to see real life bats flying around was just amazing to them.

Daddy pulled out the old trumpets and gave the boys a lesson.

The very best part of the trip was being together as a family.  I look at this picture and I'm filled with so much love for all of these people.  I love being apart of this family and can't wait to be with them all again. 2014 guys????
